A Durham treasure hunt is an ideal team activity for a fun corporate event or staff away day. It's also a very popular hen party activity. Our company has been organising scavenger hunts at venues throughout the UK (and even Europe) for over 25 yrs and we have a great deal of experience to offer our clients. A typical Durham clue trail will include a mixture of challenging questions, team tasks and fun photo challenges- there may even be a visit to the pub included as one of the challenges! The stunning university town of Durham is the perfect place for a treasure hunt. We like to meet our clients at a central point where we can do the briefing before you set off. Outside the World Heritage Site Visitor Centre (7 Owengate, DH1 3HB) is a good spot to start. Afterwards we can meet back at a venue for food and/or drinks where we can go through the papers together. Two options are the Bella Mamma Italian Restaurant (located in the Neville Cross Complex, Darlington Road, DH1 4JX, Tel: 0191 3709922) or the Cellar Door at 41 Saddler Street, DH1 3NU, Tel: 0191 3831856. We are always happy to go with your choice though!
We have got clue trail routes set up in a number of other local towns including: Newcastle, Chester-Le-Street, Ripon and the nearby coastal resort of Whitby. If you would like a bespoke package put together at another location then just let us know and we'd be more than happy to oblige.
