Basingstoke is the largest town in Hampshire with good access to London (48 miles) and other nearby towns such as Winchester and Southampton. Due to its proximity to London several major companies have located here including Eli Lilly, BNP Paribas and Sun Life Financial. Early industries included Brewing and Textiles. After being designated as a London overspill town there was a period of rapid growth, with the population rising from 52,000 in 1971 to over 150,000 in 2001. Each year the town holds a large community event called the "Basingstoke Festival".
Our fully mobile events team can facilitate your team building event at any venue in the locality. If you don't already have one in mind, then we are pleased to make some suggestions that are suitable for both indoor and outdoor events: the Holiday Inn, Tylney Hall Hotel, the Elvetham, Hilton, Weybrook Park Golf Club, Oakley Hall and Pit Hall Barn are all worth considering. We are also more than happy to provide our full range of team activities at other locations within the vicinity including Hook, Oakley, Tadley, Overton, Fleet, Alton, Four Marks, Reading, Farnborough, Frimley and Medstead.
